One Direction can rap?!
Maybe the guys should consider following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber and create rapper alter egos for themselves after showing off their freestylin' skills on NovaFM in Australia.
Louis Tomlinson revealed that the group will sometimes use The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song to entertain their fans if something goes wrong with the music at their live shows, so of course, the DJ asked the group to belt out the tune on the spot.
They looked a little nervous about displaying their spittin' skills, but they did a decent job emulating Will Smith. However, Zayn Malik sounded like a bit like a chipmunk when singing the line, "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air," and One Direction didn't finish the whole song.
Still, maybe they should collaborate with Will someday—they could have asked the rapper/actor to work with when they got to meet him at the Kids' Choice Awards. It's also a shame that they didn't meet Will Smith sooner since they could have begged him for a role in Men in Black III; he could have had them cast as aliens posing as a boy band.
So if One Direction ever does decide to be like Justin Bieber with rap alter egos, what would the guys' names be? Louis Tomlinson could be DJ Carrot; Harry Styles would obviously be Shaggy Mane; Zayn Malik could be Z-Ma; Niall Horan would be Fresh Prince of Mullingar; and Liam Payne could go with L-Payne (or Lil' Payne).
