Selena Gomez says she tries to dress "age appropriate" because she realizes that many of her fans are impressionable young girls. Still, she does indulge her fashion sense from time to time in things that most parents wouldn't want their young daughters wearing.
According to a report from Contact Music, Selena has her own clothing line that is marketed via K-Mart stores, but she is most often seen rather dressed down when out and about with boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Of course, the Wizards of Waverly Place star has been seen dressed in a far more grown up manner in recent months. She is, after all, 19 years old and a very beautiful young woman. She prefers her young fans, however, dress appropriately for their own ages.
''Obviously sometimes I'm going to dress for me. I wouldn't specifically want younger kids wearing a gown or a top that I wear. But most of the time I do wear things that are appropriate for everybody," she says.
The Love You Like A Love Song singer has a reputation for being a celebrity with morals and high standards. She is—especially when compared to most of the other young celebrities out there—a decent role model for her young and very impressionable fans.

Sadly the world expects her to show off her legs in super short pants - but this makes her look so cheap! In contrast however when she wears a long flowing gown she looks so regal and dignified.
