One Direction's Niall Horan just made yet another startling revelation. He's a natural brunette. Apparently, he's been bleaching his hair for a long time. Even more surprisingly, Niall is getting tired of his hair care routine. Or maybe he simply no longer likes the way he looks as a fair-haired boy. For whatever reason, he's contemplating a return to his natural brunette hair color.
In a recent interview on Australia's The Chrissie & Jane Show, the now blond One Direction heart-throb first tattled his four band mates' most embarrassing secrets and then revealed one of his own. It seems Niall was not born blond. Not only that, he wants to go back to the way he was born—with dark hair. Although he claims his desire to return to his true hair color has nothing to do with fitting in with his brunette band mates, Niall's hair color change—if he goes through with it—will make him and the rest of the One Direction boys a matched set. Be that as it may, Horan insists he's just tired of being blonde and all the work required to stay that way.
"I'm trying to get rid of the blonde hair," he explained, "because I've been doing blonde since I was about 12, so I'm actually sick of it now."
Niall Horan has been bleaching his hair blonde since he was a tween? Yikes. Oh well, it seems he's already made the decision to let his hair grow out. But how will his fans react to a naturally brunette Niall Horan? Will they love him anyway? Or will his hair color change be a replay of Justin Bieber's 2011 haircut that reportedly cost JB 80,000 Twitter followers?
