Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have put on countless public displays of affection throughout their adorable relationship and those moments only continue to multiply now—in fact, they just recently smooched for the kiss cam at the Lakers basketball game and have lately been on a string of low-key but undoubtedly super-dreamy lunch dates. So that's why it's extremely shocking to see Bieber piling on the PDA with someone who is not his girlfriend! But that's just what he did on Saturday. Jelena fans: Have no fear... these romantic advances were just for show.
Bieber might have been inspired by Gomez (and by swag!) for his new, chart-topping "Boyfriend" track, in which many of the lines could definitely relate to his relationship with the starlet. But the "Baby" singer's co-star for the song's music video was not his number-one girl... she did look just like Selena Gomez, though!
The lucky doppelgänger heating things up with Justin Bieber had dark and wavy long hair, as well as similar gorgeous facial features to Gomez. She looked so strikingly similar to Bieber's main gal that it could have been no coincidence that she was selected as the co-star just for that reason. He and the producers are obviously alluding to his romance with Gomez, while also putting out an edgier, more grown-up video than some of the pop sensation's prior more teeny-bopper work.
But the Selena Gomez look-alike and her steamy scenes with Bieber weren't the only items drawing attention. Even riding solo, the Biebs attracted plenty of stares. He was rocking his suave, James Dean-influenced coif. He also pulled out the ultimate hip-hop outfit with low-slung jeans, a white T-shirt, denim vest, gold chain jewelry, and shiny gold high-tops.
And what is Bieber without a girl and without his wheels? An orange, tricked-out Ford Mustang and a motorcycle, which were both on set, solved that problem. Talk about ratcheting up the cool factor, although those rides perhaps weren't as statement-making as Bieber's own Batmobile, Fisker Karma, and his latest addition: a customized Smart Car turned "Swag Car."
As Celebuzz mentions, Justin Bieber just stopped by The Voice last week to present a sneak peek at his "Boyfriend" music video, which was certainly a tease. But from the looks of the candid snaps of Bieber filming even more of the video, the completed product will certainly be worth the wait.
