Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may just be getting closer than ever in their three years together—even those engagement rumors have started! While the couple is still quite young and Hemsworth might not be putting a ring on it anytime soon, it seems Cyrus still could be missing her man when he's not around. And she used Twitter to talk all about it.
The singer-actress joins fellow songstress Rihanna in the exhibitionist club, not only with revealing, display-it-all ensembles but also with provocative, risque tweets. (RiRi's love triangle showdown with Karrueche Tran and ex Chris Brown has really heated up those 140 characters or less.)
That said, Miley Cyrus doesn't always use the popular social media platform to flaunt what she's got, although she did just recently post a sexy photo of her bare legs as she sat in front of the fireplace! One of her latest tweets has a rather melancholy tone, but it's totally PG.
"Aerosmith said it right. 'I don't wanna close my eyes. I don't wanna fall asleep cause I'll miss you babe... & I don't wanna miss a thing,'" she posted, as Hollywood Life reports. "It's lucky I dream about you every night otherwise sleep would be torture. I miss you to [sic] much to bear."
But what prompted her to send out such a cryptic, dramatic and romantic (and really kind of sad!) message to her scads of followers? It's probable that this message was for boyfriend Liam Hemsworth—a sweet gesture to let him know how much she misses him when he's not around. Hollywood Life thinks a case of separation anxiety might be the correct diagnosis, too. After all, he has been on the road a bit promoting The Hunger Games with co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
Still, Cyrus and Hemsworth have been spotted quite frequently stepping out together—both casually and for red-carpet events. Like many star couples (ahem Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart), they just have to make the long-distance work.
