Taylor Armstrong from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has expressed interest in competing on Dancing with the Stars, probably in hopes of getting more publicity for her book, her image as a battered woman and just her in general. Well, it seems that she is not wanted on the show, because the women from the Bravo shows aren't considered stars. So, Rob Kardashian is considered a star, but the 'Real Housewives' women are not. One has to wonder how they determine who are stars and who aren't.
Well, Taylor won't be shaking her butt on the show because the producers don't want her on the show. According to Wetpaint Entertainment, Taylor was turned down for a slot on the show, but it isn't personal for her. She is one of the least liked women on the show, which could have factored into producers' decision to turn her down. But at least she can be happy knowing that none of her costars will be on the show.
So, why don't the producers of the show want the housewives, including Taylor Armstrong, dancing on the show? Well, according to the website, Dancing with the Stars is targeted for families, while the housewives have "unsavory issues in their background" and get "more negative press than positive."
Perhaps someone should tell the producers of the show that many of the stars that have danced in the past have criminal records, being accused of abuse and don't always have positive press coming their way.
Do you think the producers have made the right choice?
