Kate Middleton has reemerged into the public spotlight after taking some much-needed time off. Prince William escorted his wife to the première of African Cats. The movie date will certainly be interesting as the royal couple will be watching the film with 100 children! Hopefully, they can see it again without the chatter of little children.
As always, Catherine looked absolutely stunning as she hit the red carpet. Her husband lovingly held an umbrella over her head to keep her lustrous locks from getting wet. What a nightmare that would have been! The Duchess of Cambridge wore a two-piece ensemble adorned with turquoise gems and gold detailing around the neckline and the short-sleeves of the Matthew Williamson number.
Kate styled her hair in her usual fashion, long and flowing with big loose curls. Her dramatic eye makeup combined with the turquoise gems around her collar really made her hazel eyes pop. The cinched bodice created the currently popular peplum look that adds a bit of flair around the waist. According to this site, the dress was enhanced, specifically for Kate Middleton. The basic dress is part of his Pre-Fall 2012 collection, but does not have the extra jewels around the collar.
