Britney Spears trusts her man completely. That's why she wanted fiancé, Jason Trawick, assigned as her co-conservator. Now that she's gotten her wish, fans are hoping she knows what she's doing this time around.
The intent behind having Jason named as co-conservator is to give Spears at least some control over her own money. She lost total control a few years back after a break down. The courts named her father as her conservator to help protect her estate. Sadly, she's been unable to break that connection since.
However, Jason won't have equal control of Brit's money with Jamie Spears. A hearing held in July will recommend that Jamie continues to manage her fortune. Jason's role, assuming it's approved, will only have a say in how her Spears runs her daily life.
While in a perfect world, that may give Britney more freedom, it could also backfire on the singer in the future. If her man decides to exercise too much control over her daily life, it could put a crimp in their impending marriage. It's a sticky situation.
However, Jason seems to love Britney Spears and there's no reason to believe he'll do anything that isn't in her best interest. The fact that she may finally have some say in her own life once again is surely comforting to the young singer. She's worked hard to earn it.
