Sexy British actor Hugh Grant has a new leading role. It's that of a proud papa. Grant spoke about his daughter recently with talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres. All reports are that he was absolutely "giddy" about parenthood.
The confirmed bachelor admitted being surprised when he found out about his impending fatherhood. However, he told the Ellen host, "...it's a very nice surprise."
The little girl, whom he calls Tabitha, is six months old. Her mother is Tinglang Hong. In her Chinese native tongue, Tabitha's name is Jingxi, which is pretty cute as well.
Grant and Hong were never serious, but had a brief affair last year. Thankfully, it was long enough to beget baby Tabitha. No doubt Grant is grateful for the meeting that threw him together with Tinglang. It resulted in his most prized gift of all time.
Grant admits he didn't believe his friends when they suggested he think about having children. They told him it would "change his life." Now, however, he agrees with them completely. "Get some!" he told Ellen. Parenthood is something Hugh Grant recommends highly.
