Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are probably not the biggest fans of their sometimes long stretches of separation due to their professional careers. Long-distance relationships are hard enough, without the constant shine of the spotlight! So, perhaps both pop sensations were feeling the blues lately, as the "Baby" singer recently left Gomez behind to head to the U.K. (he was there to promote his new album and "Boyfriend" single) and also to New York for the Tribeca Film Festival. But it was in London where he copped what looked to be a bit of a bad attitude, while Gomez was in sunny Los Angeles at nearly the same time looking none too happy herself. Ah... parting is such sweet sorrow.
Bieber might have experienced a bit of girlfriend-separation anxiety and a bumpy flight across the pond, as he seemed rather perturbed earlier this week as he headed to a music studio in West London. His typically cool-as-a-cucumber facial expression or his sometimes beaming grin was replaced by a furrowed brow as he talked on a cell phone.
Hollywood Life has the photo of him and he definitely seems to be scowling! (However, it's also kind of a handsome shot of the Biebs--almost like one of those brooding denim jeans ads.)
Whether Justin Bieber really was hot under the collar or the camera just caught him at a bad time, his girlfriend Selena Gomez was also recently captured looking none too pleased as punch. She was seen at a McDonald's drive-thru, where she actually appeared a bit sad, even putting her hand up to her forehead at one point. Perhaps she wasn't all that thrilled about her fast-food choice or maybe she was just wishing Bieber was there to share her French fries. As Daily Mail quips, she should have been ordering a Happy Meal!
