In a recent interview, Kristen Stewart remarked that she wished she were happier. Another way of saying that is that she's not very happy now. And still another way of expressing the same sentiment is that she's unhappy now. What?! Unless she was joking, it's easy to understand why she's unpopular in Hollywood. How can she possibly be unhappy?
Of course, the Twilight heroine made the above bizarre comment during a discussion of her eagerly awaited new film, On The Road, in which she plays a free-spirited young woman travelling across the country with her husband and his friends. La Stewart mused that she wished she had the "same amount of unbridled enthusiasm about life" as Marylou, her character in the film.
"I would love to be as excited as those guys were," KStew whined--er--revealed. "I would love to be like this everyday. Everyone who worked on this movie told me the same, it's rare to be part of such an experience. If I wasn't a part of it, I would have been jealous!"
Right.
Hopefully, Kristen Stewart was joking. Or perhaps, she just couldn't think of anything else to say about the movie and her reaction to her character. If she was serious about being unhappy, then she needs a serious reality check.
Kristen Stewart has an estimated net worth of $55 million. She is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, and Glamour Magazine just named her the Best Dressed Woman in the World. Her post Twilight Saga career seems to be progressing nicely. On the Road and the even more eagerly anticipated Snow White and the Huntsman are cases in point. Her boyfriend of four years, Robert Pattinson, is a man that millions of women worldwide fantasize about. And even if, as the "Nonstens" insist, her romance with RPattz is just a long-term publicity stunt, she surely has the looks, fame, and money to get the man, (or men or women) that she wants, and with whom she could presumably be happy. She has all this, and she's only 22 years old. Most people her age are sitting in cubicles doing boring busy work unconnected to their degrees to pay back student loans. Or worse, they're flipping burgers in some grease pit. Unless Stewart suffers from unknown health problems which is the only legitimate reason someone in her position would be unhappy, she should shut up.
Isn't it about time for spoiled celebrities to stop whining and instead be thankful for their blessed lives? Be careful, KStew. It could all disappear.
Wonder if Robert Pattinson is also unhappy?
