With competition like Sofia Vergara and Jessica Alba, model Kate Upton is going to have to bring her A-game to the White House Correspondent's dinner. And, she did just that Friday night.
On Friday, the Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl managed her keep her famous breasts inside her dress, and dazzled everyone at a pre-dinner event.
But, doesn't the White House dinner seem like a complete waste of time? The whole point of the dinner is to make journalists seem cool, because they are hobnobbing with stars like Alba and Vergara.
Does anyone buy that these Hollywood hotties are concerned with the news or politics? In fairness, Upton did attend the dinner last year, and her uncle, Republican Fred, is a congressman from Michigan. But, for most of the stars, the Correspondent's weekend is just another party on someone else's dime.
Upton dazzled during a pre-dinner event Friday, and no, she was not wearing a bikini. The 19-year-old model left the swimsuit in the closet, in favor of a turquoise frock and black ballet pumps. She actually looked very demure, and received a huge amount of attention from the paparazzi who were all over the place. Well done, Kate!
