After Us Weekly reported yesterday that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi insulted Jessica Simpson's pregnant size, a slew of tabloids have been making a nonchalant comment into part of some war between the pregnant celebrities, yet Polizzi denies it all. What apparently started the buzz is Polizzi's off-hand comment about Simpson, "I would die if I were her size."
It's certainly no secret that Jessica is sporting an enormous baby bump as she expects to give birth any day, and it's doubtful any woman would want to endure the back aches and discomfort associated with carrying around so much weight around the middle. It doesn't mean, however, that Nicole Polizzi was sending any disrespect Jessica Simpson's way.
Now, Snooki is in a tizzy about how the media has handled her joking comment. She took to Twitter to defend herself today: "I NEVER dissed Jessica Simpson you weirdo tabloids, get over it with your 'pregnant war' articles. I love the girl and her hot ass bump." It just goes to show how just about anything can be taken out of context to fuel an imaginary celebrity war.
