Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan carefully picked their fashion statements for the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April 28. After all, this was a big night with lots of cameras taking over Washington, D.C. as a cavalcade of stars made their way to the nation's capital for the annual festivities.
Although both Kimmy K and LiLo were fashion forward, the two obviously gave careful consideration to being socially correct with what each wore to the Washington Hilton. It was there that the two famous women sat at the same Fox News table along with Kris Jenner and Fox's Greta Van Susteren.
Kardashian chose a regal emerald velvet gown embellished at the shoulders and at the waist in silver. The dress was the centerpiece of her fashion statement while simple diamond studs shone in her ears and her long brunette hair was piled on top of her head in a neat bun.
To say Kim Kardashian looked a bit like Elizabeth Taylor back in the day is not a stretch. That said, Lindsay Lohan was channeling Marilyn Monroe when she hit the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Lohan looked happy, healthy, and a bit perky in her chocolate-brown satin halter gown. Her blonde locks (now rocking more than a hint of red) were worn down and in curls. The fancy frock was to the ground and was cut close to being dangerous with just a bit of side boob showing. LiLo, like MM before her, always goes a bit daring with her sartorial showing off, even to a Presidential event like this one.
With that in mind, and with the spirit exciting in Washington, D.C. for a meal during which time Barack Obama was feted, Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan were fashion forward. Still, the two were also style conscious for Saturday's White House Correspondents' dinner as the pair mingled with the press and the prez in an evening to remember, sartorially and otherwise.
