Michelle Obama was a vision at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday.
While this is the norm for this fashion forward First Lady at any gathering, the Naeem Kahn frock she rocked was the best of the eventful evening. In fact, this sartorial choice made Barack's wife a clear winner in the style sweepstakes when compared to such luminaries as, say, Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian, who were also in attendance.
To be sure, the buzz in the nation's capital was all about how Michelle looked. She wore the gorgeous strapless gown with confidence, showing off its rainbow of color which was easy to spot among the glitterati who were in the same room at the Washington Hilton as the stunning FLOTUS.
Perhaps because her dress was like a Jacob's coat of many colors, Mrs. Obama accessorized in a minimal way with just a pair of large hoop earrings adorned with coral. The jewelry was almost bohemian, but not quite, and almost too elegant, but not quite.
In general, Michelle Obama was, hands down, the best dressed person who turned up at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on April 28. Because of that, she would have survived any style barbs from host Jimmy Kimmel had he handed any out—which he didn't. And for good reason: The First Lady's look was flawless.
