Adam Lambert Knows Who He Wants to Win on...

Adam Lambert may be very busy preparing for his upcoming tour with Queen and promoting his sophomore album Trespassing, but that doesn't keep him from watching the show that launched his career. It seems that despite his very busy life, he makes time every Wednesday and Thursday to get his fill of American Idol.

When asked by a paparazzi who his favorite contestants are, he immediately replied that his favorites are Jessica and Joshua. That would be 16-year-old vocal powerhouse Jessica Sanchez and Louisiana native Joshua Ledet. As to why the American Idol alum likes those two contestants, he said it's because "they have soul."

He may be very happy in a few weeks. Jessica Sanchez has consistently been one of the judges' favorites throughout the entire competition. Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Taylor didn't hesitate to use their one save to save her, before she even got through her song, when she was threatened with elimination. Joshua Ledet is a favorite too. The judges have repeatedly rated his electrifying and soulful performances as some of the best they've seen on the competition.

In just a few short weeks, Adam Lambert will get to see whether his wish comes true. The finale takes place on May 23. Even if he doesn't get his wish, at least he'll be able to see them on the summer tour.

Agree with Adam, think Jessica and Joshua have the best shot at winning the competition, they both have beauitiful voices and showmanship. Having said that, I think all of the contenders left and the last two that left are incredibly talented, this has been a good AI season. I love Phillip as well, he is so different, quirky, and remains so true to what he wants to be and do. If you like county (which I really don't, but many do), Skyler would be tops, and Hollly has a beauitiful voice as well, I think she just needs to get some more expierence under her belt-it would be wonderful for her if someone like David Foster scoops her up-she reminds me of an older Jackie Evancho. After saying all that, guess who is still my top all time IDOL pick...Adam, who else???

I agree with Adam Joshua and Jessica have been my favorites this season mainly because of their vocal abilities unlike most of the others. Holly is also one of the best vocal talents. Although Phillip is nice looking and kind of quirky he really has no range and looks like he is straining to sing. That to me is annoying when watching him perform. Skylar's voice is just way to twangy and I have to mute the performance every time she opens her mouth. Not impressed with anyone except Jessica and Joshua. I'm really not into the show since S8 so don't much care who wins this season but wish whomever wins the best success.

I also have not seen much of Idol since season 8 but I do like Phillip this year...unique, won't compromise, true to himself and his style of singing. Can't stand the judges - sugar coated comments and Tyler truly seems bored. I think I miss Simon.
I have actually enjoyed watching The Voice. That would have been some shock had Adam made his debut on The Voice. One can only imagine what impression he would have made.
Somebody tell Adam to wear his tight black leather pants on Idol!!!!
