Victoria Beckham is one of the busiest moms on the planet. Her career as a designer keeps her extremely busy and when you add four young kids into the mix, it gets really crazy. It is not totally unheard of for a busy mom to forget her purse, or forget to turn off the coffee pot, but there are only a few who can say they forgot a child--the child they are supposedly driving to school.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Victoria opens up about one of her stressed out mom days. She tells a story that is funny now, but at the time, it was probably extremely tense. "I jumped in my Range Rover, put the car seat in, put my iPod on and drove to school," explains the former Spice Girl.
It wasn't until she got down the road she realized she forgot something critical, Brooklyn! She reveals the moment it hit her, "I was driving along, talking away, and all of a sudden, I looked down at the seat, and I was like: 'S**t! S**t! I've forgot something.'"
The entire trip was with the intent to take Brooklyn to school. Although it would have been a bit of a hectic moment, Brooklyn was probably not left completely unattended. There was most likely plenty of staff to keep an eye on the 13-year-old.
It is not something moms like to admit, but these little episodes happen. How many times have you driven to work and realized the kids were still in the backseat? Victoria Beckham may have a bevy of servants at hand, but she clearly takes her responsibilities as a mom very serious. This will be a story she can tell Brooklyn's children someday, and everybody will have a good laugh.
