Jessica Simpson has finally checked into the hospital! It seems like years since Jessica started sporting that baby bump. Her pregnancy has become one of the hottest topics in Hollywood, but not because she is pregnant, but because of how long she has been noticeably with child.
Her baby bump first caught the public's attention back in August of 2011. How in the world is this woman still pregnant? Could she have actually started showing from the moment of conception? It appears that is the case in this particular pregnancy.
After weeks of false alarms from tabloids, it looks as if the Simpson child will finally make her entrance into the world, today, May 1. Jessica has sported one of the most prominent baby bellies for a single child in Hollywood history. Many are convinced she will give birth to a 10-pound child or twins, but Jessica insists it is all amniotic fluid.
Jessica's sister, Ashlee, and her mom have been spotted entering the hospital along with Eric Johnson's parents. It is not clear whether doctors decided to induce her or if this is a scheduled C-section. One tabloid report indicated Jessica did not want a natural birth and had scheduled a caesarean. Of course, there is always the possibility the child decided it was about time she left that roomy womb.
This will be the first child for Jessica Simpson and her fiancé, Eric Johnson.
