Jessica Simpson has finally given birth! The Fashion Star mentor and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, welcomed a baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson, on Tuesday morning. After much speculation and hoopla, the time finally came (as you knew it would) and people are simply thrilled for Jess and her family.
A source confirms the happy news to Us Weekly just 
moments after TMZ broke the story that Simpson and Johnson's families arrived at the hospital. Judging by their casual appearances (some sipping coffee as they strolled in), it was evident that Jess had already given birth. The source has confirmed that Maxwell was 9 lbs. 13 ounces—a fairly big baby as expected.
After months (literally nine months) of being pregnant—which felt like years—Jessica Simpson has a healthy little girl and on the first of May no less... what a beautiful birthday to have. Maxwell is one lucky girl and when she gets a bit older, she will take part in her parents' wedding, which has already been confirmed by Simpson.
