'Basketball Wives' Star Tami Speaks Out on Evelyn vs. Jennifer Feud

Basketball Wives fans have almost been forced to take sides in the Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams feud, as the two former best friends have been locked in a battle for months. Some support Jennifer because she is a recently divorced woman who just spoke her mind about her friend's new relationship, while some think that Evelyn has every right to be upset with Jennifer to not respecting her privacy and her love life. Well, some of the other cast members are taking sides, but some seem to play Switzerland on the topic. But how does Tami Roman feel?

"I think that Evelyn needs to find a better way to deal with things, which she has openly admitted herself," Tami told S2S Magazine when asked about Evelyn being a bully towards Jennifer. "I'm not saying what she did was right, but she handled things differently than how someone else might." Sure, no one actually thinks it is right for Evelyn to charge across the table to get her point across or throw wine bottles at other Basketball Wives cast members.

So, is Tami a supporter of Evelyn or is she supporting Jennifer? While she is friends with Evelyn, she doesn't think the girls should be throwing away their friendship of fourteen years. Many of the fights shown on the reality show is the women trying to get Evelyn and Jennifer to work out their issues. However, it doesn't seem like it is working. The girls just want to fight, so let them fight.

Ava Gabrielle May 2, 2012, 9:10am UTC Williams has the producers seeing red, as they consider her actions to respond in a civil manner to be a threat to their “brand” as a violent, character reversal of most African American, the very market that one would expect that they were attempting to reach. Yet, is it possible to ruin a brand, for which it seems there could be any lower standards? Isn’t this good publicity, or does the network simply want to defend the subtle message that these women are a true representation of African American women and William’s statements fly in the face of that position? What precisely would be the grounds for their dispute? So, it seems that the emperor indeed has on no clothes. Shame on Williams for saying so aloud. Far be it for African Americans to realize that the women actually have been encouraged to put their worse foot forward, as cast member Tami Roman stated in a recent interview.
