In a recent interview, Kristen Stewart's Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rubert Sanders, praised her inner qualities as being more important than her beauty. And it was her inner qualities that prompted him to want her for the role of the "fairest of them all" in his unusual re-telling of the classic fairy tale.
First of all Sanders made it clear that La Stewart was wearing clothes the first time he met her. Well, that's good, and it's good that he got that question out of the way right off the bat. Not to mention that her Twilight heart-throb boyfriend, Robert Pattinson will be happy to hear it. Sanders went on to make it clear that KStew's looks had little to do with his decision to cast her as the film's courageous heroine.
"It was how she was inside," gushed Sanders. "When I first met Kristen I could see this kind of ...she's got this kind of unbridled craziness to her. She's like a spirited horse. She's untamed, and that was really great about her, you know. She's very independent, very intuitive, and very tough. It was absolutely great to work with her. We had a lot of fun, and I think she's absolutely staggering..."
Goodness. Looks like Kristen Stewart has made a conquest. Wonder if RPattz is feeling both proud and jealous at the same time?
At any rate, you can see the rest of Rupert Sanders' interview on the video clip below.
