Tulisa Contostavlos Named FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World, Probably Because of Her Sex Tape

Tulisa Contostavlos has discovered that there's one bright side to starring in a sex tape—guys will crown you the sexiest woman in the world.

Tulisa might not be all that well-known in the States, but just like Cheryl Cole, she'll probably win a few more American male fans by topping FHM's list of the sexiest women in the world.

Cheryl topped FHM's list in 2009 and 2010, with model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stealing the title from her last year. Interestingly enough, Tulisa was Cheryl's replacement on the U.K. version of The X Factor (so if Simon Cowell chooses you to be a judge on his show, you've obviously got to be hot).

Beyond her judging gig on The X Factor, Tulisa is probably best-known for being a former member of the hip-hop group N-Dubz. However, it's likely that guys didn't just vote for her in FHM's poll because she's talented or beautiful—they probably love her for showing off her freaky side by starring in a sex tape.

Tulisa Contostavlos caused a media firestorm in the U.K. after a tape was released showing her performing a sex act on her former boyfriend. The 23-year-old was just 19 when her ex made the video, and poor Tulisa was probably afraid that it would be a career-ender after the jerk decided to release it. However, she seems to be experiencing the Kim Kardashian effect—the sex tape is making her even more famous.

On FHM's list of the sexiest women in the world, Tulisa managed to beat Cheryl Cole, Rihanna, Rosie Jones, Georgia Salpa, Katy Perry, Megan Fox, Keely Hazell, Mila Kunis, and Emily Atak, who make up the top ten. Kim Kardashian will be devastated to know that she only finished 65th.
