The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga seems to be caught up in the drama with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice even though she doesn't want to. She keeps getting thrown under the bus with Teresa's comments, but she can't walk away from Teresa for good because of her husband, Joe Gorga, and the attempts to make peace between Joe and Teresa. However, in her newest Bravo blog, she explains that just because she can't walk away from the drama completely, she is totally over the entire cookbook comment debacle.
"I was happy that she was making an attempt to say that she was wrong," Melissa writes of her Teresa. "When I said, 'We'll take one for the team,' I meant exactly that. If she has to throw names and 'jokes' in there to help the book sell, then so be it. I'm fine with it, happy to help, now let's all move on." However, saying 'taking one of the team' is hinting that Teresa screwed up but isn't taking responsibility for it. Although Melissa Gorga had the best intentions, it sounds like it could be just pouring fuel on the fire.
Gorga follows fellow housewives Caroline and Kathy when it comes to move on from the cookbook drama. Teresa apologized, but she didn't sound sincere, especially after getting paid for the apologizes by In Touch.
Do you think Melissa is doing the right thing by moving on? She claims she didn't even care too much about it in the beginning, but then why was she talking about it for so long?
