Women pursuing Harry Styles of One Direction take notice. He is not allowed to date. That seems to translate into 'any dating he does must be kept under the radar.' This has started some online nastiness, and even the What Makes You Beautiful singer's mom has been on the receiving end of that abuse.
According to a report from STV, it seems that any woman--young or not--even remotely linked to the One Direction star has been attacked online. That includes former girlfriend, girls who are just friends and even his mother, Anne Cox.
One tweet sent 
to Cox was even a bit on the threatening side.
"I hope you'll die because you are a b*tch," the tweet read.
"Harry's mum has big boobs and a big bottom she looks like a b*tch," was another message shared via Twitter and aimed at Harry Styles' mom.
Did Harry's mom reply to these tweets or simply ignore them? She in fact replied with a message that should give the Twitter troll pause to ponder.
"I hope you find inner peace someday," she wrote.
It must be difficult for Harry Styles to realize that because of him, his mom is being harassed and threatened online. Anne Cox doesn't let it get to her, however.
"I can't take it seriously or I'd never come out of my house," she said in a recent interview.
