Newly engaged Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are moving to London, and they bought their dream house at the bargain price of $16 million. The pair leased the estate for approximately $50,000 a month last year and must have fallen in love with it to make such a pricey purchase.
The estate, known as Whornes Place, is in the Richmond district of West London. Since Angelina will be shooting her next three films in the UK, the couple plans to move along with their six children soon. "They like the culture and are happy for their children to receive schooling here," a source for the Sun noted. "They think Richmond is a beautiful part of the world."
Since Brad won't be working until fall, he will be a stay-at-home dad for the summer so Angelina Jolie can fully focus on her role for next film Maleficent. Once Pitt returns to work on a Ridley Scott movie in September, the couple will return to sharing parental duties.
With such an extravagant new home and ample grounds, it is natural to wonder if it will be the site of their upcoming nuptials. The Sun's source, however, thinks otherwise. "No date has been set, yet but they'll probably go back to their home in France to get married."
