Several celebrities have shared their sadness Friday afternoon over Adam Yauch's death. The Beastie Boys rapper succumbed to cancer after fighting the disease for quite some time.
According to a report from Celebuzz, many celebs from MC Hammer to Justin Timberlake have offered the
ir condolences and expressed their sorrow at Beastie Boys band member's passing earlier in the day on Friday.
"Crushed to hear the news of Adam Yauch's passing. A true pioneer of art. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. #RIPMCA," Justin Timberlake wrote via Twitter.
It's likely that a large number of celebrity posts will appear on Twitter before the end of the day. It's sad when someone so young loses his life to cancer. It's kind of celebrities to take time out of their busy schedules to acknowledge his untimely passing.
May Adam Yauch rest in peace and may his family as well as his band family find peace in the end of his suffering.
