Kanye West is reportedly still mourning his mom's death, and girlfriend Kim Kardashian is trying to be supportive by being a good listener and a shoulder on which he can cry.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kanye's mom Donda West died in 2007, following complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure. It seems the musician has never gotten over his mother's passing.
A source claims Kanye's love for Kim Kardashian is swiftly evolving, and that he confides in her about everything, including the pain he still feels over the sudden and tragic loss of his mom.
"Kanye talks to Kim about everything," the source says. "He tells her everything he's thinking, he's an emotional guy. [Kanye] talks about his mom a lot and how much he misses her. Kim comes from a big family and knows how important family is, and she sits and listens."
Talking is probably the very best thing Kanye West can do to ease the pain he feels over his mom's loss. And Kim Kardashian is likely doing the best thing she can do for him by simply listening. Even though the pain has surely lessened since 2007, the loss of a mother is the kind of pain that often lingers in some capacity for a lifetime.
Do you think the fact that Kanye West can share his innermost feelings with Kim Kardashian and the fact that she listens patiently in return is a sign that their relationship is growing stronger? Do you expect to see their relationship play out on Keeping Up With the Kardashians?
