Kristen Stewart appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday and divulged that she was injured while in Vancouver. She and her co-star and real life boyfriend Robert Pattinson recently returned from that city where they filmed re-shoots for the upcoming Breaking Dawn Part 2.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kristen limped only slightly when taking the stage at The Tonight Show. Even though Jay Leno didn't notice, she still made mention of the fact that she couldn't wear heels.
"I didn't have the
ultimate swag though when I walked out [because] I hurt my foot [during reshoots]," Kristen said, wearing flats. "I wasn't trying to get out of wearing heels though either. That wasn't the case."
The Twilight star is known for dressing down. In fact she's even made mention of the fact that she hates dressing up. It seems her reason for not donning heels was in fact legitimate on Friday, however.
"We were doing some stuff for Breaking Dawn still. Every time [we have reshoots]! It was cool though. We were doing just more of the hunt in the beginning. The first hunt. It's so important. I just wanted more of it. We all wanted more of it," Kristen Stewart explained.
It was while filming this hunt that Kristen got hurt. Thankfully Robert Pattinson was on set with her to ease any pain she may have experienced!
Production sources say fans will love Kristen Stewart in her role as a full-fledged vampire in Breaking Dawn Part 2. It will be the last time they'll see her as Bella Swan, however, and that brings with it a taste of the bittersweet.
"Kristen is awesome as a vampire, and the reshoots certainly drove that point home," the production source said. "They are going to end the series with a bang! Kristen as a vampire is some of her best work yet because she gets to really have fun with it. She doesn't just have to be Bella—she is allowed to be more and show more range. The crew has been more than satisfied with her work as a vampire."
Are you excited about seeing Breaking Dawn Part 2, and Kristen along with Robert Pattinson in their last film foray as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen? While the film isn't hitting theaters until November, it sounds like there will be more than enough hype in the meantime to keep fans interested and amply excited about the final installment in the Twilight series.
