Kristen Stewart may only be 22, but she has worked with a veritable A-list of actors, as well as directors, producers and the like. Not to mention, her boyfriend is Robert Pattinson, one of the hottest heart-throbs in Hollywood right now. The spotlight has only increased, too, with each installment of the couple's hit Twilight Saga and the final editions: Breaking Dawn. So with her obvious acting talent, exposure to fellow high-profile celebrities and so much blockbuster experience and attention, it seems hard to imagine KStew nervous about another actor. But, even some of the biggest stars find themselves more or less star-struck, and so did Stewart!
"Charlize was one of the most important reasons of doing this project," Kristen Stewart recently admitted, as Celebuzz reports, referencing her Snow White and the Huntsman co-star, Charlize Theron, 36. "I think she is great in everything she does and I respect her a lot as a woman," Stewart added, also admitting that such "respect" led to her feeling quite "nervous and intimidated" by the Oscar-winning beauty.
Indeed, Theron is a powerhouse actress who can just as seamlessly morph from her brutal Monster role to SWATH's Evil Queen—and everything in between! And she sounds like quite the real-life firecracker, too. Stewart revealed: "When I met her I was like, 'Oh wow! You're crazy!' She is very fast-paced, fun, and attracts a lot of attention. She walked into a room and you had no option but to look at her. Charlize exceeded all of my expectations." (Stewart, no doubt, manages to walk into a room and attract plenty of her own stares, too, though!)
However, Stewart isn't the only big star who has had a serious case of the nerves. Statement-making singer Rihanna recently admitted that she, too, was plenty scared about her Battleship role, where she was completely out of her element.
But, as Celebuzz confirms, Kristen Stewart wasn't only nervous about working with Charlize Theron, she also gets the jitters when she has to talk about her work. Despite her career, Stewart obviously has a shyness streak in her. "It is very strange to me and I become very nervous when I have to talk about my movies," she said. Good thing her so-far impressive work more or less speaks for itself.
