Selena Gomez and her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, currently have some serious distance separating their adorable relationship, as the starlet is literally countries apart as she begins filming The Getaway in Bulgaria—of all places. That said, while she's miles away from Hollywood, the young starlet already seems pretty keen on not only keeping her fans and Twitter followers in the loop of where she is and what she's doing, but also filling in the Biebs with plenty of social media-fueled updates. And one of her latest posts may just have some hidden meaning geared directly toward her main guy.
As Hollywood Life reports, Gomez recently tweeted a photo, saying, "cutest restaurant in Bulgaria." Indeed, the pic shows a pretty cozy and just plain romantic spot that coincidentally looks like a perfect one for a date. There's no doubt Gomez had her "Baby" singer in the back of her mind when she was there, perhaps even wishing he could have joined her for dinner.
Still, as Hollywood Life points out, it's great that Selena Gomez's schedule in Bulgaria hasn't been all work and no play and that she has a bit of time to soak in the local culture. Maybe Justin Bieber will even hop a plane to visit his girl sometime soon and they can take in the Bulgarian delights together!
Selena Gomez's Getaway flick isn't the first time she and Bieber have spent some significant time apart, and it certainly won't be the last. From international concert tours to promotional appearances (Bieber's been promoting his new track, "Boyfriend"), not to mention Gomez's burgeoning movie career (she just wrapped Spring Breakers in Florida), their skyrocketing success demands constant jetsetting from one place to the next.
But the couple's relationship appears to be a strong one and full of trust and respect, which is crucial for long-distance love. Plus, they always seem to somehow find time to visit each other when they're worlds apart. In the meantime, absence makes the heart grow fonder...
