The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills gave Dana Wilkey instant fame, as she became known as Taylor Armstrong's friend and her $25,000 sunglasses. In fact, every time she was on the show, it was about money and her very expensive accessories. If it wasn't the expensive sunglasses, it was the $1 million lollipop holder she wore while bowling with the other ladies.
But her expensive lifestyle wasn't enough to get her a spot on the show. Even after announcing that she was leaving her fiance behind, producers weren't interested in her. Dana was only a guest star during the second season, but she isn't scheduled to make an appearance on the third season, which is filming now. Instead, Dana Wilkey is thinking about how she can make her 15 minutes of fame last from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She recently announced that she has recorded a single about her $25,000 sunglasses.
"I feel like it's now become a pop culture funny thing that happened on the show and I wanted people to know that I am laughing at myself as much as they're laughing at me," Dana explained to Ryan Seacrest, which is where she debuted her single. She thinks it is funny that she can sing about all her designer labels and all of her carats -- and then laugh about it. Except people don't think it is funny. They think she is ridiculous for being so narrow-minded. This entire thing could essentially work against her.
What do you think of her song?
