Victoria's Secret model Anja Rubik may have made the biggest fashion statement of all at the recent Met Gala 2012. The model possibly upstaged Angelina Jolie, who famously showed off generous leg at the previous Oscars award show.
Over at Celebuzz.com, photos of Rubik show off her cream-colored gown, which reveals her entire right leg. That includes her hipbone as well, which is one of the more daring fashion statements to make. The gown was by Anthony Vaccarello, and the ensemble didn't include undergarments, according to Celebuzz's report. However, Rubik was wearing big dangling earrings and sky-high heels.
If her name sounds familiar already, Rubik did have a shoutout in the recent Kanye West song "Theraflu," which has since been renamed "So Cold." Kanye brags about the Polish model in one line, rapping:
"Dinner with Anna Wintour, racin' wit' Anja Rubik"
It appears she may make more of a name on her own, though, without Kanye's shoutouts. As the Celebuzz website notes about Anja Rubik's recent leg display, "several celebs have sported slits on the red carpet, no one has quite showed this much leg until now." There's a first time for everything, and after all she's a Victoria Secret model, right? It wouldn't be shocking to see one show up in lingerie or bodypaint for next year's event!
