Jennifer Love Hewitt really wants to play Anastasia Steele in the movie Fifty Shades of Grey, which isn't surprising since she's a major Twilight fan and the book that it's based on started out as erotic Twilight fanfiction.
Jennifer has also talked about her obsession with Robert Pattinson in the past, so she'd probably love for him to be cast as BDSM-loving tycoon Christian Grey (although she probably wouldn't complain if Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder won his campaign for the part). Jen would certainly have no problem with the raunchy role since she has plenty of sexy scenes in her Lifetime series The Client List, and based on what she's said about her desire to win the part, she'll do whatever is necessary to get it.
According to Access Hollywood, here's what Jennifer Love Hewitt said about playing the part of the college student that control freak Christian Grey whisks away to a sexy world full of spankings and other kinky stuff:
"I wanna be Anastasia so badly."
"I think it would be awesome. I think it would be really, really fun."
Unfortunately 33-year-old Jennifer must have missed the part of the book that describes Anastasia Steele as a 21-year-old college student. The actress also hasn't done any nude scenes, and there's probably no way that Fifty Shades of Grey could be filmed without showing a lot of skin.
But surely Jennifer Love Hewitt understands that she'd have to be ready for some explicit scenes - she kind of seems like the type of gal who really enjoys her erotica. And Adam Levine better watch out - he's trying to break into acting by starring in American Horror Story, and Jen will probably push for him to win the role of Christian Grey if she miraculously gets cast.
