Last month, the tabloids and gossip websites were full of stories about how Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were ready to get married. What a difference a couple of weeks makes! Now, JustJen are ready to break up -- and another person is involved!
According to OK! (via Celebitchy.com), Jennifer is back in touch with ex John Mayer, who recently released a song about their relationship in a totally not obvious ploy for publicity -- and "the two may be close to rekindling their rock 'n' roll romance."
"He has never really gotten over her," a "friend" dishes to the mag. "When Jen heard he'd written a song about their breakup, she immediately downloaded it and listened -- and the tears were rolling down her face. Jen has a lot of wonderful memories from her days with John, and they all came flooding back."
"Wonderful memories"? Like what? When he held a sidewalk press conference to announce he'd dumped her? But apparently time heals all wounds, because the two have been texting since she listened to the song. And now, "She is desperate to see John again. She realizes a piece of her heart still belongs to him. They're sending each other a lot of flirty texts and it's obvious John still has very deep feelings for her," OK!'s source says.
"Very deep feelings" about the press he gets when he's associated with a famous person, maybe -- otherwise why would he release a song about a relationship that ended three years ago? John's obviously a giant famewhore and douche, so hopefully, if there's any truth to this report, Jennifer's smart enough not to get back together with him. But "douche" is obviously her type, given her dating history, so maybe not.
