Kim Kardashian is currently coping with some once-again elevated divorce drama with ex Kris Humphries. But the reality TV show star still has to keep up appearances—literally—and she did just that when she recently jetted to Toronto to promote the launch for the spring collection of her trendsetting Belle Noel jewelry line. Of course, in addition to her gems, she does have a new hot accessory on her arm—guy of the moment, Kanye West. And, no matter what Humphries might think of her dating prior to a finalized divorce, Kardashian seems to be ramping up the romance with the rapper. (Khloe Kardashian Odom even reportedly approves!) West made a special trip to join his girl in Canada, but was he unhappy about tagging along?
The spotlight must have certainly been on the pair of them, as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West both arrived at The Hudson Bay store on Thursday afternoon, as X17 Online reports. But it could have been shining brighter on Kardashian. While her former man, Kris Humphries, may have preferred to shrink into the background, there's no doubt West is accustomed to his own fame factor.
So was Kanye West, who also has his own fashion line, unhappy about being the tag-along to stylista Kim Kardashian this time? Some have speculated as much, and he does look a bit disgruntled in some of the snaps posted on Just Jared. That said, the camera could have just caught him at a bad time. And perhaps he really didn't want to be the center of attention this time. He interestingly dressed down for the occasion—in all black without a spot of his rapper chains and ice. After all, the event was about Kardashian's sparklers. It was quite sweet of West to fly to Toronto just to support his girl and her cool jewelry designs, although they probably aren't quite his look!
It seems Kimye might have even snagged some romantic alone time, as X17 confirms that they later snuck out the back of the flagship department store. It was a quick trip, though, as Kardashian tweeted that she was catching a flight back home to Los Angeles shortly after her appearance. Talk about meeting and running!
