Derek Hough and Maria Menounos sure do conjure up a lot of sexual tension when the two perform on Dancing with the Stars. So, does this mean these partners are not only together on the dance floor but also in real life as well?
In other words, are these DWTS frontrunners bringing on some heat that doesn't have anything to do with traditional ballroom dancing?
According to one source, Hough and Menounos "seemed to be more than just friends during a recent visit to the Grove" where the two allegedly went to a screening of The Avengers.
According to this source's source, he or she said that "Maria and Derek were sitting towards the back of the theater. He had his hand on her leg. On their way out of the theater, he was squeezing her [behind], but once they got out into the light, he stopped."
Well, that's interesting. But then again, Derek Hough is used to squeezing the behind of his dance partner. That's just how it goes when two people get close while following such an intense regimen of rehearsals and performances such as is necessary for a show like Dancing with the Stars.
Still, the intimate nature of their relationship has been observed for a while now, even though Maria has been going out with producer Keven Unfergaro <wbr/>for more than a decade.
However, despite this long time committment to someone else, the Extra host was seen in Las Vegas on Cinco de Mayo partying with her partner Derek Hough while she wore a lime green bikini and he was very touchy feely even though there was no dancing being done during this rendezvous.
That said, it should be noted that Unfergaro is OK with whatever is happening with Menounous and Hough and does not seem insecure at all with what seems to be a budding relationship. After all, as this man knows, the bond between Derek and Maria began because of their show business deal and so that's apparently no big deal for Menounos' boyfriend as he views this as just part of the job.
That said, perhaps he should be careful. Derek Hough is one guy who is hard to resist as evidenced by his other romantic relationships formed on DWTS (remember Shannon Elizabeth?).
