Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez make an undeniably hot couple and their romance seems to show no signs of cooling off, despite their busy schedules that have them frequently in separate states and even continents. Gomez is actually in Bulgaria to work on her new movie and recently spent prolonged time in Florida for her Spring Breakers flick, with Bieber back in Hollywood. But there is another brunette lovely in Bieber's life: the Gomez look-alike who stars as the "Baby" singer's girlfriend in the new music video for his "Boyfriend" track. She's a model--and married, much to many Jelena fans' relief--but she still bears a striking similarity to Gomez.
Celebuzz rounded up some of Barnes' modeling shots and some of them are actually so reminiscent of some of Selena Gomez's photos that have surfaced, albeit not for a model portfolio, per se. Perhaps it was not only Barnes' physical appearance, but also some of her modeling shots that reminded Justin Bieber of his main girl and made him want to hire her as his sexy "plus one" for "Boyfriend"!
Gomez just wrapped Spring Breakers and it was during the filming of that movie both on and off set, that she was spotted in all sorts of bikinis and skin-baring exits--beach side, at the pool and everywhere in between. Likewise, as Celebuzz points out, many of Rachel Barnes' images have her rocking skimpy swimsuits and flaunting what she's got--some are even taken at a pool!
There's also a racy motorcycle shot with Barnes and two other girls that certainly calls to mind Gomez's own bikini-clad scooter time with S.B. co-stars Ashley Benson and Vanessa Hudgens. Talk about a coincidence!
Rachel Barnes' obvious attractiveness, and perhaps even her similar Selena Gomez looks, led to her modeling career. But that career has no doubt benefited from her starring role alongside Justin Bieber in that sizzle reel better known as the "Boyfriend" video.
