Kate Middleton is a huge fan of the reality show, Britain's Got Talent. Like every other fan, she has her favorite acts and probably sits on her couch cheering them on. The group, Only Boys Aloud, has won the favor of the Duchess of Cambridge, and she wanted to let them personally know. Most acts get plenty of words of encouragement from their various fans, but few can say they got a note from the future Queen of England.
A source reveals Kate wanted the 130 members of the choir to know she was rooting for them. "Kate sent a note wishing them luck, and that she was supporting them." Can you imagine how exciting and encouraging that must have been?
Despite Kate's support, the group lost the competition to a dog named Pudsey. It is believed the entire Royal family are fans of the show. Of course, their interest could be for more selfish reasons. Part of the winning prize is a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show.
Catherine's favorite boys choir may have lost the big prize, but they did score a record deal. Kate Middleton will soon be able to listen to the guys anytime she wants. Will the "Kate effect" extend to music sales as well? Her support almost guarantees they will be successful.
