DJ Pauly D burst onto the scene just a few years ago when fans met him on Jersey Shore. Already he has turned his deejaying gig into a full time career with bookings at The Palms in Vegas and Pool After Dark in Atlantic City, just to name a few. Pauly is also working with 50 cent on a record deal and will soon be entering into the liquor business.
According to TMZ, "Pauly D is close to announcing his own ready-to-drink cocktail called REMIX ... a series of vodka-based drinks in various flavors. Pauly's drink is meant to target the "pre-game" market." Could this mean Pauly will soon be changing the meaning of G.T.L. from Gym, Tan, Laundry to Gym, Tan, Liquor?
TMZ is also reporting that he has been collaborating with the co-founder of Skinnygirl Cocktails which DJ Pauly D's fellow reality star Bethenny Frankel sold for a reported $120 million! As if that in itself isn't promising enough, REMIX was tested in Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America convention in Las Vegas early last month and people loved it.
With filming on Jersey Shore season 6 beginning next Monday, Pauly sure has his work cut out for him. Perhaps he'll put a rush order of REMIX in to his partners and have it sent to the Shore house for "t-shirt time!"
