Kim Kardashian has admitted that she is afraid to show her face and uses heavy makeup to make her feel more secure with her looks. It's a sad fact of life, but many women seem to be too embarrassed to let anyone see them without makeup—sometimes women even hide underneath layers of makeup from their own spouse. It's a bit shocking to hear that Kimmie, considered by many to be one of the world's most beautiful women, is also afraid to wear less makeup, or to wear none at all.
Kim Kardashian spoke about her overuse of makeup on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Monday. "Every shoot I do, they let me put on the lashes and the heavy makeup. It's a security blanket for me," said Kim.
Perhaps Kim Kardashian's current relationship with Kanye West has given her an extra boost of confidence. Kim also said that she's going to make an attempt to "tone it down a little but with the makeup."
It's a sad reality people live in, where so much importance is placed on looks and beauty, that celebrities, especially, feel the pressure to look perfect and be perfectly made up at every moment of their lives. It would be nice if society would actually realize that it is definitely what's on the inside of a person that is most important.
