Did Cheryl Hines Play Role in Mary Kennedy Suicide?

Did Cheryl Hines inadvertently play a role in Mary Kennedy's suicide? Sources say she was distraught over the relationship her estranged husband Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. was having with Hines.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kennedy reportedly felt 'lonely' and 'lost' prior to her death. She also struggled with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s recent dalliances.

"'She always seems lost these days, whenever she came into the village," a neighbor says. "Lost and alone and sort of out of it."

Since the Kennedy's are still legally married, does that make Hines the proverbial other woman? Even though the two were estranged since 2010, they never officially divorced.

"She was deeply

troubled, abusing alcohol and prescription meds," the family friend said. "She had cause. She was used up and tossed away by Bobby. That was awful."

Used up, tossed away, and then watching her husband cavort with a famous actress. Could this affair have lent itself to Mary Kennedy's death? Do you think Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Cheryl Hines are feeling an responsibility at all about her reported suicide?

Only God knows what Mary Kennedy was thinking at the time she supposedly took her own life. It seems her husband and Cheryl Hines may become a point of contention--especially for the surviving Kennedy children--in the weeks and months to come.

NO!! No one is responsible for another's choice to take his or her own life. Each individual is responsile for his or her own life. Mary and Robert Kennedy each made choices in their marriage. If a marriage fails it is not worth taking one's own life.

Come on - are you serious? Any person having been in a marriage for 17 years and having a husband whose had many affairs; has been dumped is going to feel a lot of angst in the situation. Then to see your husband who has not even culminated his divorce all over the internet with a beautiful actress is not suppose to be affected? Maybe not everyone kills themselves over this; but most women don't have high profile husbands. This would be a very painful experience. Yes, RFK Jr. is dreadfully responsible for her alcohol and drug problems. He certainly had total disregard for her for some time. She likely loved him and was ripped apart by his crappy behavior. Cheryl Hines was not directly responsible, as he was, but there is no one that could begin to convince me that she had no idea she was adding to Mary's pain. Yes, they both should feel horribly guilty. Cheryl probably feels it more than he does; because she is normal. He is NOT.

I agree BUT she needs to take responsibility for her own life and her own happiness and get the help she needs especially if they have children. Think about the lives left behind. Yes Mary ALLOWED them to keep her in pain. She could have gotten therapy and found her worth outside of her marriage. Yes, she was in pain, yes she was entitiled to that pain, but reports said they broke up in 2010. There is time to wallow in the pain and then time to reinvent yourself, pick up the pieces and make a new life, not to live in the victim mentality. Suicide hurts many many people in a person's life. The children suffer the most, trust me when I say that we have a responsibility to them if no one else.

Our personal worth should never depend on another person. Never!! It's just my opinion, especially being a wife that was left behind by suicide.

Of course RFK j and Cheryl Hines played a role in her despair! They should feel guilty! It is just so hurtful to see your husband with his new girlfriend when you are not even divorced yet. They could have been more discreet!
People don't try hard enough to make their marriages work! And when you are self indulged, pompous, narcissistic brat like RFKj, you don't feel any responsibility to anyone but yourself and your own desires! His life, now, will be very different....those kids are the innocent, unintended victims.
And, Danielle, I think RFKj would not have been above lying to Mary. It's the lies and the questioning of yourself is what you are seeing and hearing what you think, or what you are being told. I would bet my savings that RFKj was well entrenched with CH before Mary had a clue they were headed to divorce. He is a ruthless womanizer and probably wanted to make sure Cheryl was going to stick before he dumped his wife! So, no, other people have responsibility for how they treat their families and messing with their hearts and heads.

And you think marrying into that type of family is not high risk? Really? I am sure he is a 1st class jerk. I think we each have a personal respoinsiblity not to let others define our own worth. Even in marriage there has to be a part of a person that is protected, the very core or heart of a person. I would not kill myself for anyone. I am a child of the most high God and he made me for a reason. I am not defined by "man". I will NOT allow how others treat me or think of me define who I am. Maybe I am wired differently than most, but it's how I feel.
Others opinions do influence me but I will not let anyone pierce my core. I will never willingly leave my children for anyone unless it is to protect them.
