Kate Gosselin Talks 'Dancing With the Stars'...

Fans have complained that, over the past few years, the Dancing With the Stars line-up has gone down hill. At one time, there were big name celebs filling the rosters, but each season, there seem to be less and less A-list stars. Perhaps that is why the show will be doing an "All Star Edition," bringing back past contestants, but will Kate Gosselin be one of them?

When news of the upcoming show hit the web, fans slammed Kate's Twitter, asking whether she will appear for a second time. Kate confessed that she doesn't know if she will be picked, but she isn't exactly opposed to the idea!

Kate tweeted to a fan, "redemption is invigorating if given the chance. I do think I'd do better on DWTS; diff attitude and better circumstances this X"

She also seemed surprised that so many of her fans would like to see her back on the show saying, "would you realllllly want to see me attempting to learn to dance on DWTS AGAIN??! God bless you, my die hard supporters :) XO"

Kate Gosselin originally competed on the tenth season of the show, but didn't do too well. She finished in 8th place and seemed shocked that she was eliminated so early on. While she may not have done well then, she may have a better chance this time around, considering she is an avid runner and in better shape.

Of course, viewers weren't exactly thrilled when Kate appeared on the show a few years back and that was when she was still technically a "star." While she is no longer a reality show star, she has been looking for any opportunity to get her name back out there and with her cruise being cancelled, her calendar just became wide open.

However, if she can't even get enough people interested in a cruise, would she be able to get people excited about Dancing With the Stars?

DWTS went out of their way to accommodate Kate by installing a dance floor in her home, and flying film crews and Tony out there to practice with her. I doubt they will want to travel that road again given the additional cost for nothing except a lot of grief from Her High and Mightyness. I suppose a lot of it depends also on which celebrities are available to do the show. Kate's wide open availability might just land her a spot for that reason alone.
I do know that there are a lot of celebrities who deserve a second chance because they gave it their all the first time around and went home too soon. The only thing Kate gave was a lot of whining, excuses and poor performances that kept her there too long.
DWTS should have back the stars from her season, since she took up spots she didn't deserve and they did.

Really? She sold it? LOL -- guess she didn't plan on doing that again. She talks about a different attitude -- does she mean herself or her partner? Better circumstances -- from what has been written here, DWTS tried to make her circumstances as accomodating as possible. Kate's failure as a dancer, IMHO, was not just about her ability, awful as it was, but her absolute lack of style. She is/was defensive and self-conscious, and I am not sure her ego will allow her to be anything else. What is missing for Kate is a sense of joy being in front of an audience to perform. She likes to being the center of attention, can talk endlessly about herself, and she loves the perks of celebrity, but she has no innate talent as an entertainer. Being the control freak that she is, she cannot accept another person's crticisim to improve her skills. If anyone dares to criticize her, she deletes them from her life as a hater. She has confused plastic good looks as talent and arrogance for strength .

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say NO...They will not ask her to be back...If for no other reason than she is so unliked among them..I heard that NONE of the dancers want to work with her...And I can well believe that...No doubt she's begging for a spot, though...

In a tweet, Kate claimed that she would be good for their ratings. DWTS did have high ratings the season she was on. What she doesn't understand is that part of that was viewers turning in to watch the trainwreck she called "dancing".

Its called all-star edition, now how fair would that be to a really good dancer thats on the cut line an gets bumped so that bull in a china closet can muck around the dance floor like an idiot....it would change to DWTS comedy hour

The biggest complaint about DWTS is the unnecessary freak factor. Faux celebs like Kreider, Chaz Bono, Bristol Palin etc. Notice how this season they decided to avoid that? I doubt they'll go down that road for an All Star Edition.
