There are traits Josh Hutcherson shares with his The Hunger Games' character Petta, and at the same time there are traits that are different. Fortunately for fans, Josh has revealed what some of them are. You'll be surprised because they aren't necessarily what you expect them to be.
Hutcherson said he was excited to audition for the role of Peeta because, "I feel like so much of who I am is Peeta. It drove me crazy during the audition process, because I was like, 'This is so me, it hurts. If I don't get this, I'm not even good at being me, so now what am I? I have no idea what to do next.'"
The 19-year-old probably meant that he has a huge heart like Peeta or maybe he meant that he's in love with Jennifer Lawrence. Just kidding. Hutcherson actually doesn't have a high opinion of Peeta's love for Katniss. He said, "Well, it's borderline obsessed and that's never good to be obsessed with anything really, but I think that he's just that in love. He can't help himself; he's just head-over-heels and hopelessly in love."
As for the differences between him and Peeta, Hutcherson said, "Peeta has a hard time saying how he feels to women. I have the opposite problem. I say it too soon, so we're different in that respect. But, honestly, we're very similar in so many ways it's kind of hard to pick out the difference. I think I should probably adopt more of Peeta's strategy and maybe play it cool a little longer."
Fortunately Josh Hutcherson can be as open or closed as he wants with his emotions and it won't matter to his fans. In fact, the more he divulges, the more they will want to know about him and the less he reveals, the more they will want to know. Either way he wins. He's truly a doll and not in the sense of him being made into an action figure, even though, yeah, that happened!
As for who he's currently in a relationship with, there's a rumor that it's Victorious' Ariana Grande, but mums the word on whether or not it's true. Now, that really helps to keep fans interested.
