So will it happen? While Chris Hemsworth hasn't evinced a definite interest in playing Christian Grey, he hasn't reacted negatively to the idea either. As he explains on the video below, he, like Kristen, has not yet read the book. Doesn't anybody read anymore?
"Ah, no, someone mentioned it to me.'... Chris replied when asked if he would play Christian Grey. "I was like, 'What is it? I dunno, maybe I'm interested. I'm not going to say anything. I haven't read the book."
As for Kristen Stewart, she hasn't said unequivocally that she wants her RPattz to be her Christian Grey. In fact, she's never said she definitely wants to take on the part of Anastasia Steele. However, she is absolutely, positively, "dying to make another movie with Rob [because they're] a good team..."
As is their custom, the folks at Hollywood Life conducted one of their famous polls asking the single question: "Should Chris and K-Stew star in 50 Shades of Grey" Interestingly the answer was a resounding: "No!" Only 24.54 percent thought the SWATH stars would make a convincing S & M couple. Robsten fans will by definition make up a large percentage of Fifty Shades of Grey's audience, and it looks like they've spoken.
Interestingly, so far no one seems to have asked Robert Pattinson about his desire to play Christian Grey or lack thereof. Maybe after RPattz savagely dissed the Twilight Saga in his recent Telerama interview, people are afraid to ask him about anything.
What do you think?
