On May 18, a large gathering of royals, including Queen Rania of Jordan and Princess Charlene of Monaco, came together in London for Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee event. The day started with a luncheon, which was also attended by Prince William and Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. Next was a dinner hosted by Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Princess Charlene's daytime look was a distractingly wrinkled powder blue skirt suit. Unfortunately, her new short hairstyle, combined with her suit and color-coordinated pastel blue pumps made for a slightly aging look for the Princess.
Thankfully, Princess Charlene did much better at the dinner commemorating the Diamond Jubilee. The former Olympic swimmer looked lovely in pale pink, with a sheer cape, and beautiful earrings.
Queen Rania of Jordan stood out at the luncheon, thanks to her embellished Krikor Jabotian ensemble. She then followed it up with a winning black—and-white peplum waist gown.
