Is Harry Styles the new Justin Bieber? Will the popular One Direction star someday be as phenomonally successful as the Boyfriend singer? Or will he even, as has been suggested, someday surpass the Biebs' achievements and become an even bigger international celebrity? Actually, forget "someday." Is Harry about to break out as the frontrunner in "the popularity stakes" and leave the Biebs lying face down in the dust? Apparently, some people who know the business think that's exactly what he's about to do.
So, is Harry's rumored intention to dump One Direction his first step toward individual Bieber-like stardom? Possibly. But he's not really in any hurry to sever ties with the 1D guys.
"He loves being on One Direction so it's unlikely he will leave permanently," the insider tattled on, "but he definitely wants to do some stuff on his own too."
Interestingly, a major JB fan site recently conducted a poll asking "Will Harry Styles be as big as Justin Bieber?" An enormous 64.13 percent majority voted a vociferous: "No!" Only 23.11 percent thought him capable of matching much less replacing JB. And 12.76 percent responded "Harry Who?" Ouch.
Not one replied: "Who's Justin Bieber?"
