Justin Bieber and his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, may have made quite the impression at last year's Billboard Music Awards (she in a sultry, black Dolce & Gabbana number which coordinated with his metallic gold blazer). But, this year, Bieber has another hot date, make that two, for Sunday night's awards ceremony at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. And neither of those initials is S.G. Gomez has been busy filming her movie, The Getaway, in Bulgaria. But, given the circumstances, she shouldn't mind that the "Baby" singer will have other girls on his arms. Here's why!
Bieber is undeniably many a girls' dream date. Cady Eimer definitely thinks so. The high school senior has been asking the "Boyfriend" pop sensation to be her guy (just for one night!) and accompany her to her prom since February 2011. As Gossip Cop confirms, she even created an entire campaign, dubbed OneLessLonelyProm.
Justin Bieber, 18, took notice, too, of Eimer's constant Twitter posts and pretty pleases. She's nothing if not persistent! But instead of being annoyed or brushing it all off, Bieber is making her "One Less Lonely Girl." No, he's not suiting up and putting on a boutonniere for a night on the high-school dance floor, but he did send her a special video message on Saturday night at Eimer's prom in Virginia, inviting her to something so much better than any silly prom.
"You can come to the Billboard Awards with me," Bieber announced, asGossip Cop reports. "I love you... I can't wait for you and your sister to be my guests at the Billboard Awards." How sweet! It's no secret Bieber has a love affair with his fans and he just proved it. Eimer and her sister have to be the object of their entire classes' envy.
Interestingly, Justin Bieber will have yet another notable gal (yes, again, she's not Selena Gomez!) at the awards show, too: his protegé Carly Rae Jepsen, she of the catchy "Call Me Maybe" tune, who is signed to his Schoolboy Records. Jepsen is performing at Billboard and so is Bieber, which means it should be a smash-hit night, especially for one Cady Eimer.
