A source tells Reality Tea, "Lauren Manzo and her longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia are reportedly engaged! Rumor has it the entire proposal was filmed for an upcoming episode of RHONJ. The restaurant had prepared in advanced to film the proposal as producers had gotten permission to film the engagement."
Ironically, Manzo told Glamour Magazine just one month ago, "I said to my boyfriend, Vito, a while ago, 'I found a ring that I want. Go buy it, and we'll get married on TV.' And then I said to myself, That's not what I want right now. It doesn't make sense to get married."
In Lauren Manzo's interview with Glamour, she was discussing a televised wedding -- not a televised engagement. She must feel different about the engagement!
