Is One Direction's Niall Horan crushing on Katy Perry? It seems he's pretty excited and very pleasantly surprised to learn "The One That Got Away" singer actually thinks he's cute.
According to a report from STV, it seems Niall first met Katy Perry when she was a guest judge on The X Factor. The two met again recently at the Teen Choice Awards.

still gets me every time. She's very funny in person! We met at the Teen Choice Awards and she pulled my cheeks apart and told me how cute I was. My life was literally flashing before my eyes!" Niall says.
Katy Perry can actually be credited with helping Niall Horan achieve the success he's achieved as a member of One Direction. When he was on The X Factor she felt he was a bit too green for what he was doing, but she sent him through the ranks just the same, with the warning to not let the judges down.
Now a few years later, Katy Perry realizes that Niall Horan, nor any of the rest of the One Direction guys, let anyone down. She recently tweeted Niall to let him know she remembered the conversation.
"@NiallOfficial congratulations, you didn't let me down! Xo."
It sounds like Niall's crush on Katy is pretty benign. Maybe when he grows a bit older, she'll consider him as a viable replacement for her ex-husband Russell Brand!
