It is no secret that Bethenny Frankel is probably very tired of the media lately. Ever since she moved to Los Angeles last weekend to start filming her new talk show, Bethenny, which is produced by Ellen DeGeneres, she has been trying to stay out of the spotlight due to the crazy rumors surrounding her relationship with Jason Hoppy. First, a tabloid wrote she had cheated on Jason with her business partner, Matt, and then, a second report claimed that both Bethenny and Jason had gone to their desperate divorce lawyers to ensure their parts of Bethenny's fortune.
But Bethenny and Jason have been spotted walking around Los Angeles and it looks like they aren't exactly divorcing by their behavior on the street. The couple often walks side-by-side, with Bryn on either Bethenny or Jason's arm. As shown on Bethenny Ever After when Bethenny Frankel had been lost at sea for hours, the family huddled together to determine whether she needed to make a statement about the story. They decided it would be best to set the record straight on air.
But it sounds like this time, the family isn't so eager to give a statement. Just over a month ago, Bethenny wrote a blog post, explaining that things were sometimes tough in her marriage, but that she was determined to make it work. Since then, she hasn't explained what is going on. But since Jason has already walked away once during a fight as shown on Bethenny Ever After, he isn't afraid to walk away if he is unhappy. One has to wonder why he is sticking around if they are indeed getting a divorce.
The lack of a statement sure isn't helping with the rumor mill, but it sounds like they don't care. They probably feel they don't have to defend their marriage to the public, which a private person could probably understand. Do you agree with their decision to keep silent?
